A Few Toyota Vehicles That Really Made The Brand Stand Out

There have been so many vehicles over the years that are a big part of automotive history and certain vehicles really stand out. Let’s dive into a few of the Toyota vehicles from CALTY Design Research (calty) and see what they have to offer. First, is the second-generation Celica which went on sale in 1978 and became one of Toyota’s most popular American models. Next is the 1980s third-generation Supra, featuring a sportier design to rock the powerful twin turbo engine.
By the 1990s, Toyota came out with the Tacoma pickup truck, which had a more rugged look, great off-road capabilities and larger tires. By the early 2000s, calty really wanted to make a vehicle that caught the attention of younger buyers, resulting in how the Toyota FJ Cruiser came to be. A feature that had this new larger vehicle stick out was the bright blue exterior color. More recently, Toyota has revamped some of these older models and made them sleeker and more modern.
Toyota GR Supra GT4 EVO
Toyota debuted the GR Supra GT4 EVO in 2023, an updated version of the GT4 Challenger. The new car will provide drivers with strengthened braking, handling, and engine performance. All these improvements came from customer feedback, which Toyota considered when improving the car’s performance. Some updates include brake system design, new ABS settings and dampers, and an enhanced anti-roll bar specification.
Inside the GR Supra GT4, there is a 3.0-liter turbocharged six-cylinder engine, an upgraded torque curve, and effective cooling. The GR Supra GT4 EVO will debut at the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge season at Daytona sometime in January 2023. Orders for this new vehicle are open, and the starting price is $185,000, not including taxes, customs, and logistics fees. Customers can upgrade their cars to the EVO specifications with an upgraded kit. The first GR Supra GT4 made its racing debut in 2020 and celebrated its 50th class win in a big championship.
Owners who own a GR Supra GT4 won’t have to buy an all-new car to acquire the EVO specifications because the upgrades can be obtained separately. A few options are available, including a rearview camera and a drinking system. The Supra GT4 EVO also comes with a pressure monitoring system at an additional cost.
