2024 Toyota Land Cruiser

Over the years, the Toyota Land Cruiser quickly built a fan base, so when it was discontinued, customers were disappointed until now. The 2024 Land Cruiser is ready to return to North America and dominate its competition. Inside this new vehicle, a 2.4-liter Hybrid Max drivetrain will be in the Toyota Crown and Grand Highlander vehicles. The 2024 Land Cruiser will be built in Japan and hit local dealerships by 2024 in the US.

More On The Land Cruiser

Toyota recently shared a YouTube link on August 1 to showcase the 2024 Land Cruiser. A lot was revealed about this new vehicle, including its looks and capabilities. The next-generation Land Cruiser will look similar to the 2024 Lexus GX with its large front end and bulkier features.

It also seems that the Land Cruiser will have a twin-turbocharged 3.4-liter V-6 engine. There could even be a hybrid option of a 437 horsepower V-6 iFORCE MAX in the Tundra or a 2.4-liter four-cylinder hybrid in the Tacoma. For a more off-road adventure, the Land Cruiser may also come with a few different trim levels, like the TRD and Trailhunter models.

2024 Grand Highlander

The 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander has a much longer wheelbase than the Highlander and has a different look and style. This 2024 model is a three-row SUV that offers comfort, spaciousness, and a luxurious interior. There are 21 cubic feet of cargo space behind the back row, with plenty of room for more oversized storage items. Almost every seat has a USB-C outlet and several cup holders throughout the vehicle. When all the back seats are folded down, the cargo space grows to 98 cubic feet.

Upfront, there is a 12.3-inch touchscreen that comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Three powertrain options come under the hood for this large SUV that offers front- or all-wheel drive. The three different powertrains are a base turbocharged 2.4-liter inline-four engine, hybrid dual electric motors, and the Hybrid Max powertrain.

When the vehicle comes this summer, there will be three trim levels: XLE, Limited, and Platinum. The XLE trim has a starting price of $44,405 (plus destination fee), the XLE Hybrid is $46,005 (plus destination fee), the Limited Hybrid Max is $55,375 (plus destination fee), and the Platinum Hybrid Max is $59,460 (plus destination fee). The newest Grand Highlander is coming in strong against competitors like the Honda Pilot, Hyundai Palisade, and the Kia Telluride.

Recently, the 2024 Grand Highlander was presented in Chicago. It is a bigger version of the original three-row SUV and will join the lineup. One of the trims comes with second-row captain’s chairs, but there is also an option for a second-row bench. The all-new SUV has a whole new exterior look and a different look from the smaller SUV. Certain trim levels include a panoramic sunroof, a digital rearview mirror, and heated second-row seats. To access a few other features while driving, the driver needs to subscribe to the Drive Connect system, and then all access includes Traffic Jam Assist, adaptive cruise control, climate controls, and so much more.
