Toyota Sequoia TRD Pro

The 2024 Toyota Sequoia got a full redesign and comes with many luxurious features but on the other hand, the TRD Pro trim is more rugged than ever. The Sequoia TRD Pro gets 437 horsepower with the twin-turbo V6 engine that pairs with an electric motor. This truck is great for any off-road adventure because it comes with downhill grade assist and level-ground Crawl Control, plus 18-inch alloy wheels.

As for the exterior look, there is a black front grille with TOYOTA written across it, extra lights, and an orange Solar Octane paint color just for the TRD Pro models. Interior features include a 14-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto, plus seven seats with captain’s chairs. The starting price for the TRD Pro trim is $78,810 (plus destination fee) which may be a little more expensive but worth it with all the extra perks. Let’s dive into what else will carry over from the 2023 Toyota Sequoia.

2023 Toyota Sequoia

Toyota has released a redesign of the full-size SUV, the 2023 Toyota Sequoia. This upgraded SUV has improved technology, engine quality, and interior, and consumers will be satisfied. The car hasn’t been upgraded since over a decade ago, until now. For comparison, the Sequoia shares its cabin design with the Toyota Tundra truck. Let’s see what else the 2023 Sequoia has to offer.

The towing capacity depends on the vehicle’s weight; it ranges from 8,980 pounds for the biggest four-wheel-drive and the lighter two-wheel-drive SR5 9,520. The price starts at $59,895 for the 2023 Toyota Sequoia with a $1,595 destination fee. The Sequoia SR5 trim comes with LED headlights, fog lights, a sunroof, three-zone climate control, heated front seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and much more.

The Limited Sequoia trim will be popular with its leather upholstery, ventilated front seats, driver memory functions, heated steering wheel, and rear sunshades. Two other luxurious trim levels are the Platinum and Capstone. If drivers want an off-road adventure, the TRD Pro is the perfect trim.

Trim Levels

  • SR5-$59,895
  • Limited-$66,295
  • Platinum-$72,495
  • TRD Pro-$78,810
  • Capstone-$76,895

Safety

  • Forward Collision Warning with pedestrian detection
  • Lane-Keeping Assist
  • Blind-spot and rear cross-traffic warning
  • Adaptive Cruise Control
  • Front and rear parking sensors

The hybrid powertrain and the 10-speed automatic transmission make for a smooth ride. Even though the Sequoia is a large SUV, Toyota’s Platinum, Limited, and Capstone trims keep the car quiet and peaceful while driving through wind whistling and rain.

Special Edition Trim

The 2022 Toyota Sequoia Nightshade is the luxury Special Edition SUV for any family or person looking for a spacious vehicle for any adventure. This is the largest SUV from Toyota to date and it doesn’t disappoint. The starting price for this SUV is $62,100 (plus destination fee) and it comes in three different paint colors such as gray, black, and white. Although this Special Edition package isn’t too far off from the 2022 original SUV, it still offers exciting new features and upgrades.

The exterior of the Toyota Sequoia Nightshade has a more aggressive look with LED headlights, fog lights, automatic climate control, heated side mirrors, and a keyless entry. Also, this Special Edition has a limited trim in the Sequoia lineup. This SUV has excellent off-road abilities with its four-wheel drive, black 20-inch wheels, dark chrome, and black exterior trim, and it can tow between 7,100-7,400 pounds.
