New 60-Speaker Sound System Comes To The Toyota Sienna:Remix

Toyota is ready to revamp a concept van to compete in audio competitions where vehicles can blast music while driving. The best way to do this is by making a car with much room and taking out the seats to fit an extensive sound system. Toyota presents the Sienna: Remix that can handle 12-inch subwoofers, 36 midrange speakers, and six percussion horns. Altogether, that is 60 speakers that come with 25,000 watts of extreme power, LED features, and a 43-inch flatscreen. This vehicle may not be family-friendly, but it sure will have the spotlight at any party or festival.
2023 Sienna Minivan
Recently, the Toyota Sienna had a facelift when entering its fourth generation. It is a gasoline-electric hybrid and also offers front- or all-wheel-drive. The 25th anniversary of the launch of the Sienna is coming up, and with that comes a 25th Anniversary Special Edition model. The starting price for the front-wheel-drive is $47,420 (plus destination fee), and the all-wheel-drive starts at $48,180 (plus destination fee).
Every Sienna model comes with a Toyota Hybrid System II, a fusion of a 2.5-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine with two electric motors. That gives 245 horsepower and a fuel economy of 36 mpg for front-wheel-drive or 35 mpg with all-wheel-drive and, of course, an automatic transmission. The fourth generation Platinum version has seating for seven passengers and has a starting price of $51,595 (FWD) and $52,355 (AWD) (plus destination fee).
Standard features include Toyota Safety Sense 2.0, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, and a towing capability of 3,500 pounds. The Premium model has features that offer four-zone climate control, heated captain’s chairs, a heated steering wheel, a 10-inch head-up display, and so much more. An upgraded exterior gives the vehicle a smoother look with its more prominent lower grille, LED fog lights, and a carved tailgate. The second-row captain’s chairs help give two lucky middle-seat passengers a lot of legroom and make the ride more enjoyable for any long adventure.
More safety features are automatic high beams, Road Sign Assist, Lane Trace Assist, and Lane Departure Alert. Ten airbags are spread throughout the minivan to help passengers feel safe while riding. The XSE Plus Package ($1,000) offers additional black roof rails, wireless smartphone charging, a 9-inch touchscreen, navigation, plus more. The 2023 Sienna XSE FWD costs $48,215 (plus destination fee).
Toyota EV-Only Platform
To cut production costs and improve on the competition, Toyota Motor Corporation plans to make an EV-only platform. The need for this comes from Toyota’s decision to start mass-producing EVs and wants to get ahead of the game because they know there is a high demand for electric vehicles. Toyota is taking the EV competition seriously and is ready to take on Tesla.
This will be a significant change coming Toyota’s way, but there is also an even more substantial change: the Toyota president will be replaced by someone else. The Toyota president and CEO, Akio Toyoda, will replace the COO and Lexus International President, Koji Sato. This switch will start on April 1, 2023, but Akio Toyoda will still be the chairman of the board of directors.
