Super Bowl Commercial Debuts The All-New 2024 Toyota Tacoma

During the Super Bowl LVIII, there was a commercial that showcased the all-new 2024 Toyota Tacoma which gives a good look into what this impressive truck has to offer. The commercial was 30 seconds long and added a bit of comedy to it because it shows a driver showing off their off-road capabilities while the passengers hold on tight. Toyota did a great job with this ad because it gives a good glimpse into what a potential customer will get with this new truck. Let’s dive into what exactly the 2024 Tacoma will bring to the table. 

2024 Toyota Tacoma

Recently, Toyota showcased the all-new 2024 Tacoma to the world, and it sure is a midsize pickup customers have been waiting for. The Toyota Tacoma truck has been a fan favorite and best-selling vehicle for almost twenty years. Some competitors that rival the Tacoma are the Ford Ranger, Nissan Frontier, Chevy Colorado, and the GMC Canyon. Let’s dive into a few reasons why this 2024 model will dominate its competition. 

The 2024 Tacoma is built on the TNGA platform, also used for the Sequoia, Tundra, and Land Cruiser. There is an option for the i-FORCE MAX hybrid system, which has a turbocharged 2.4-liter engine, a 48-hp electric motor, and a powerful 1.87-kWh battery pack. The truck gets 326 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque with everything combined. 

The Tacoma will have eight different trim levels: SR, SR5, TRD PreRunner, TRD Sport, TRD Off-Road, Limited, TRD Pro, and the Trailhunter. As for the Tacoma Trailhunter trim, it offers a new suspension system and special equipment for an impressive overlanding package. The 2024 Tacoma will have a 7-inch digital instrument cluster for its lower trims and a 12.3-inch digital cluster for the higher trims. More features include wireless Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and a 10-speaker JBL audio system.

Tacoma Trailhunter Trim

The 2024 Toyota Tacoma officially debuted in Hawaii, and it’s already tearing up the streets. Toyota has revamped the design for the 2024 Tacoma lineup and has recently added a new trim called the Tacoma Trailhunter. The Trailhunter trim can easily handle any off-road adventure and has impressive capabilities. This new trim has a Double Cab with either a 5- or 6-foot bed, is hybrid-powered only, and gets 326 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque. It rides on 18-inch bronze-colored rims and has strong wheel skid plates to improve protection. 

As for the interior, there is a 12.3-inch gauge cluster, a 14-inch touchscreen, plus heated and cooled front seats. Safety features include lane departure warning, road sign assist, proactive driving assist, radar cruise control, and more. Every hybrid-powered iForce Max Tacomas will go on sale in 2024, including the impressive Trailhunter trim. Until the Trailhunter trim hits local dealerships, the Tacoma TRD Pro or the Tacoma Off-Road is another excellent option.
